The EL1202 digital input terminal acquires the binary control signals from the process level and transmits them, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation unit. It is suitable for particularly fast signals due to its very low input delay. The EtherCAT Terminal can support distributed clocks, i.e. the input data can be monitored synchronously with other data that are also linked to distributed clock terminals. The DC accuracy across the system is << 1 µs. The EL1202 contains two channels whose signal state is indicated via LEDs.
