TwinCAT Speech allows multilingual speech input and output of queries or information and in this way makes the interaction with an automation system more natural. Imagine, for instance, that operator or maintenance personnel can simply inquire about the impact of changed settings on the current control or simulation application instead of having to use a conventional operator interface. In combination with the image processing software TwinCAT Vision, we provide a new dimension of smart control: a control system that is able to see, listen and speak.

Launched with the C6015, the new series of ultra-compact Industrial PCs is already established because of its small space requirements, universal usage and flexible installation options. Successor C6017 offers additional interfaces and integrated UPS. The new C6030 is designed for applications with even the highest performance demands. The multi-core device integrates Intel® Core™ i processors of the 6th and 7th generation and offers top performance with up to 3.6 GHz per core in the quad-core version. Demonstrating the consistent expansion of the IPC series, Beckhoff presents a new device: Compared to the C6030, the C6032 offers additional interfaces.
Ultra-compact IPCs

With the new ELM314x Economy line in the 1 ksps sample class, Beckhoff is expanding the product range of EtherCAT measurement modules with an affordable version. It allows highly precise measurements of analog 10 V/20 mA signals with 100 ppm accuracy over a wide temperature range at low channel costs.

With consistent modularity and scalability, the new generation of Beckhoff safety controllers enables optimal adaptation to the specific safety requirements of individual machine concepts. The intelligence of an entire safety application can be distributed across safety-relevant I/O modules, which are equipped with TwinSAFE Logic capability. In this way, it is possible to achieve a more efficient and flexible modularisation and in turn increased adaptability to given system requirements.
