- Introduce other programming languages
- Project: Writing Simple Code in other programming languages
Day 2
- Discussion of programming with Function Blocks
- Project: Up-Down counter with indicator lamps
- Discussion on ‘Time’ (how we annotate ‘time’ in T/C)
Day3
- Overview of Function Blocks and Functions used in calculations
- Project: Write a project using multiple languages, Functions and Function Blocks
- Using TwinCAT ScopeView
- Discussion concerning Beckhoff Information System (InfoSys) and how to use it
Day4
- Trouble shooting a TwinCAT system
- Project/Lab: Trouble shooting
- Task Configuration: Tasks and intervals, Programs and Program calling (instantiation)
- Exam: Open book test on all topics covered during the week
