Beckhoff implements open automation systems using proven PC-based control technology. The main areas that the product range covers are industrial PCs, I/O and fieldbus components, drive technology, automation software, control cabinet-free automation, and hardware for machine vision.

Responsibilities

  • serve customers in the high technology industry by providing timely and accurate product information; maintain effective customer relationship
  • ensure customer orders are processed and filled per the customers’ requirements
  • coordinate activity with inventory management, warehouse and distribution, production facility, and accounts receivable
  • resolve product or service performance issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • contribute to team effort through identification and effective implementation of process and system improvements as well as backup to other Customer Service Representatives
  • prepare product and service performance reports by collecting and analyzing customer data
  • update and maintain customer accounts in ERP system

Qualifications

  • minimum 2-3 years customer service experience in an office environment
  • 1-2 years college or technical education; College degree desired
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • experience with D365 strongly preferred
  • demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing high customer satisfaction with superior service
  • strong interpersonal and communications - verbal, written communication and active listening skills
  • demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve customer issues with a sense of urgency
  • demonstrated ability to follow through, manage multiple accounts, provide sales support and multitask while maintaining order accuracy
  • strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills
  • ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • self-starter, self-motivated and consistent performer at a high level
