TwinCAT TCP/IP enables the implementation and realization of one or several TCP/IP servers and/or TCP/IP clients within the TwinCAT 3 PLC. Corresponding function blocks exist for the establishment/disconnection of communication as well as for the pure exchange of data (send and receive). The function blocks also support the use of multicast addresses.
