TwinCAT is the integrated software for engineering, control, measurement technology, diagnostics and analytical functions. Robotics and Motion Control functions can be synchronised on one platform. TwinCAT enables programming of virtually any robot kinematics in a standard PLC programming language. This guarantees efficient engineering and the costs are lowered.

Starting with the C6015, the series of ultra-compact Industrial PCs has proven itself through its flexible usage possibilities. With the new C6030 the benefits such as low space requirement, universal usability and flexible mounting now also stand for applications with the highest performance demands. The multi-core computer integrates Intel® Core™ i processors of the 6th and 7th generation with a footprint of only 129 x 133 x 76 mm and offers maximum performance with four cores and up to 3.6 GHz per core.

Beckhoff integrates image processing in the control system with TwinCAT Vision. Machine manufacturers can solve image processing tasks directly in the PLC. Tasks such as detection and measurement of parts and the detection of codes are covered. The result: advanced machine concepts that increase competitiveness and investment security.

The AMP8000 integrates the Servo Drive directly in the servomotor in a very compact design. By shifting the power electronics to the machine, the space requirement in the control cabinet is reduced to a single coupling module that supplies several Servo Drives with just one cable via a distribution module. The result: a significant saving of material, space, costs and assembly work.

In the EL922x EtherCAT Terminal series, Beckhoff has integrated electronic overcurrent protection for the safeguarding of 24 V DC system components highly compactly in the EtherCAT system. This enables Condition Monitoring, which reduces downtimes and thus also costs. A further advantage is the smaller footprint – thanks to two safety channels with a width of only 12 mm – compared to conventional solutions.
