At the EuroBlech 2018 Beckhoff presented its system-integrated solution for IoT and data analysis, which makes a simple and secure cloud connection possible in sheet metal processing. As a further highlight, Beckhoff demonstrated the dynamic and precise movement of a servo-hydraulic hybrid axis live at the trade show booth. The drive solution, which consists of the AX5000 servo drive and the AM8000 servomotor with One Cable Technology as well as the TwinCAT Hydraulic Positioning software library, offers short machine cycle times with minimum deviation from the setpoint and reduced energy consumption.
