Highly efficient: all building functions on one PC-based control platform

At the world's largest exhibition for lighting and building services, Beckhoff is exhibiting new solutions for integrated building automation, with which functionality and energy efficiency can be significantly optimized. Find out in hall 11 how you can benefit from the linking of all systems on one central platform. Beckhoff is once again setting benchmarks for building automation at the L+B with an extensive range of systems and numerous hardware and software innovations. The innovations range from the integrated lighting solution and the new BACnet Revision 14 through to the CX8191 Embedded PC for BACnet/IP.

TwinCAT 3 Building Automation

TwinCAT 3 Building Automation: integrates building control into TwinCAT 3

As a modular engineering tool, TwinCAT 3 Building Automation covers all systems: from heating, ventilation and air conditioning to sun shading, lighting and energy data acquisition. Through integration into the TwinCAT 3 automation software and in combination with the TwinCAT modules HMI, IoT, Analytics or Scope, TwinCAT 3 Building Automation opens up numerous new possibilities, extending as far as the cloud-based analysis of building data. The Embedded PC for BACnet/IP: CX8191

The Embedded PC for BACnet/IP: CX8191

Universally usable from control tasks to gateway functions: the new CX8191 Embedded PC supports the BACnet protocol and is supplied complete with an integrated BACnet license. Optionally, E-bus or K-bus terminals can be bayed. In conjunction with the EL6861 BACnet-MS/TP terminal, the CX8191 can also act as a router to MS/TP networks. CX8191

The quick way to an efficient lighting solution: TF8050

The quick way to an efficient lighting solution: TF8050

The TwinCAT 3 TF8050 Lighting Solution for lighting control simplifies all work steps from engineering to maintenance. All typical lighting controllers are integrated and the number of DALI lines is unlimited. TF8050 is easily configurable via Excel and can be operated via a panel. Fast function changes, addressing and extensions are directly possible during operation, as are groupings that are independent of DALI lines.

Completes the energy measurement chain from the sensor into the cloud: the SCT0111 current transformer

Completes the energy measurement chain from the sensor into the cloud: the SCT0111 current transformer

Simplified energy management in buildings: Through the constant, system-integrated measurement of power with the SCT current transformers, any deviations can be detected quickly. Locally separated measurements of current and voltage via the EtherCAT Distributed Clocks system are also possible with the EL3446 power measurement terminal. SCT current transformers

Dynamic BACnet: with Revision 14

Dynamic BACnet: with Revision 14

The BACnet Revision 14 supplement implemented in TwinCAT 3 Building Automation enables a smooth transition from TwinCAT 2 to TwinCAT 3 and generates objects directly in the PLC. The improved alarm processing options in the BACnet standard are provided in TwinCAT. In addition, twelve additional BACnet objects are available that map simple data types as “primitive value objects”. BACnet
