The Beckhoff I/O systems provide interfaces to all common sensor and actuator technologies. Through integration of DMX, sACN, SMPTE Timecode, Art-Net™, PosiStageNet and AES70 (OCA) into the PC platform, all technical stage and show systems and devices can be optimally networked to ensure that every event is a perfectly staged event. For programming and configuration purposes, TwinCAT provides a uniform software platform.
At Prolight + Sound, Beckhoff is presenting two representatives of the new generation of Industrial PCs: The latest addition, the C6030, combines the ultra-compact design of the C6015 with maximised computing power and up to 3.9 GHz per core. This makes it an ideal all-in-one controller for stage control as well as cloud and IT applications.

The AMP8000 distributed Servo Drive system integrates the servo drive directly into the servomotor, breaking new ground for modular application concepts. By relocating the power electronics directly to the application, the space requirements within the control cabinet are reduced to a single coupling module that can supply multiple servo drives with just one cable via a distribution module.

The EL7411-9014 EtherCAT Terminal offers high control performance in a highly compact design for the medium output range of BLDC motors. Due to the fast control technology and the connection of an incremental encoder, both very high speed profiles and dynamic positioning tasks can be implemented. Numerous monitoring functions afford maximum operational reliability.

With the EK1000 EtherCAT Coupler, Beckhoff broadens the application possibilities of EtherCAT in heterogeneous network environments. Through support of TSN functions, the coupler enables delay times caused by TSN switches in Ethernet networks to be minimised and the wide range of EtherCAT devices and EtherCAT I/O Terminals to be connected to the TSN world.

In the new EL922x EtherCAT Terminal series, Beckhoff has directly integrated electronic overcurrent protection into the highly compact EtherCAT I/O system in order to safeguard 24 V DC system components. In comparison with currently available protection devices, costs and space requirements in control cabinets can thus be reduced.
