PC-based control integrates all building automation functions on one platform

To keep costs under control, hotels and cruise ships must pay especially close attention to their energy efficiency. Without affecting their guests’ well-being and comfort, they can save energy by intelligently controlling the heating and cooling of hotel rooms and ship cabins and optimize the energy consumption always to meet the required level. Various illumination scenarios in the rooms, lounge, restaurant and spa areas can set the lighting mood based on usage and time of day. For cost-sensitive hotel room applications, the compact BC9191 room controller and the CX7000 series delivers all the features for a standard room in a compact housing. The Beckhoff software libraries facilitate optimal networking with external components and systems: The TwinCAT FIAS server, for example, provides a direct interface to the hotel management software Fidelio FIAS and hence straightforward communication between hotel booking system and room controller.

With a PC-based control solution from Beckhoff, all systems for stage and show technology can be integrated on one platform. The integrated technology includes moving objects, show lighting technology, AV and media technology as well as building automation controls.
