The training focuses on TwinCAT NC-PTP positioning and NC interpolation. The target group is users who are familiar with programming with the TwinCAT PLC and fundamental NC-PTP principles and now wish to get to know the extension to NCI.

- Brief overview, basic example of NCI axes

- Creating interpolation channels from single axes
- Creating NC programs according to DIN 66025
- Process with the System Manager
- PLC libraries for creating NC channels and for controlling the interpreter
- Sequential control from the PLC
- Communication between NC program and PLC program (M functions)
- Exchange of parameters between NC program and PLC (H, S and T)
- Recording the path with TwinCAT Scope
Requirement
- assured handling of TwinCAT PLC programming
- solid knowledge of PLC programming
- knowledge level of the TR3020/TR3030 courses, or appropriate experience in IEC61131-3 programming
- Programming languages: ST
- Since the examples are carried out in simulation mode, basic knowledge of NC-PTP (setup of NC axes and MC library) is recommended.
