EtherCAT XML Device Description
The zip file contains the XML Device Description Files for the Beckhoff EtherCAT products and the universal Validation Schema Files. The files should always be unpacked completely into the directory \TwinCAT\IO\EtherCAT (for other masters/configuration tools see description of the manufacturer). |

EtherCAT Systemmanager Extension
For some Beckhoff EtherCAT products the Beckhoff System Manager provides product-specific enhancements. If this support isn't includedin your TwinCAT/System Manager then you can download here the required dll-file. Copy .dll- and .bat-File to ..\TwinCAT\Resource\ and start the .bat-File by doubleclick. The information "required up to" declares, from which TwinCAT version this support is already integrated. |

EtherCAT fieldbus gateways
All the files are to be unpacked into the directory \TwinCAT\IO\<Feldbus>. They can be used after a TwinCAT reboot. |
