| TwinCAT is usable for 30 days free of charge. For a further use, a registration is necessary. With this registration a license for the use of the software is acquired. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The licensing procedure During the installation of TwinCAT the setup program automatically generates a so-called System-ID (e.g. E2A4-90A6-242) based on the individual type numbers of the processor and the harddisk on which TwinCAT is being installed. So it's a code that is only valid for one CPU + HDD combination. With this System-ID a so-called Registration Key (e.g. 98DD-69E7-34BE-1AF7) is generated that you enter into the Reg.Key field of the setup program. By this the limitation to 30 days is taken up. |
