The EP6601-0002 Ethernet switch port module is used for the decentralized connection of Ethernet devices to the EtherCAT Box network. The EtherCAT system relays the Ethernet communication of the connected devices fully transparent and collision-free.
The switch port module can be installed at any location within the EtherCAT strand. No configuration is required.
