The motor modules with the product designation AT2001 largely correspond to the motor modules with the product designation AT2000. In addition, they each have a fixed connection cable for the supply of power and communication. These 5 m-long connection cables enable a particularly compact design compared to the pluggable supply cable. With a length of 250 mm, the motor modules with power supply are the shortest version of a supply segment. By attaching motor modules without a supply, straight or curved track layouts, the supply segment can be extended up to 3 m. A complete XTS system consists of at least one supply segment; however, several supply segments of different lengths can also be used in an XTS system. The length of a supply segment is primarily determined by the mechanical motion profile of the movers and thus the electrical power consumption as well as the number of movers on the respective route.
A mechanical interface on the motor module enables the direct mounting of guide rails. If the guide rail system runs parallel to the motor modules, a variant without holes in the upper profile is available. This makes the motor module easier to clean and produces a harmonious overall appearance with the black coloring of the top side.
