The TwinCAT Maintenance Class is geared toward those individuals who support
equipment running TwinCAT. It is designed so those who receive a machine with
TwinCAT are able to find diagnose and repair a problem.
Items covered are:
- Beckhoff I/O Bus Coupler and Terminal operation, diagnostics, assembly (BKxxx and KLxxxx components)
- Fieldbus operation, diagnostics, and assembly (RS232 Serial, Profibus,
DeviceNet, CanOpen, Sercos, Real Time Ethernet, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT)
- TwinCAT System Manager software and connection of hardware I/O points to software variables.
- Using the TwinCAT PLC Control to determine the status of an I/O point in the PLC Logic
- Maximum of 8 students 2.5 days
