The EPP23xx I/O modules combine digital inputs and outputs on one device. This makes it even easier to bundle distributed sensors and actuators in one box, as an actuator typically includes two inputs as feedback. Universally usable I/O channels can be operated as inputs or outputs without configuration. In addition to M8, M12 and D-Sub connectors, modules with spring-loaded connectors are also available to enable quickly detachable, compact signaling technology.
