The MD8xxx series servo drives enable the operation of servomotors in the MX-System and are part of a multi-axis system whose DC link is fed from a DC link module (MD6xxx). The motor is connected via a B23 hybrid connector, which includes OCT feedback and brake control. For 1-channel servo drives, an optional multi-feedback interface can be configured that integrates additional digital and analog encoder systems via M12 connectors.
In addition, the servo drives have integrated STO/SS1 functionality and TwinSAFE Logic. Full TwinSAFE Safe Motion functionality is available as an option.
