Presentation of the MX-System

The MO6224-0039-1112 IO-Link module enables the connection of up to four IO-Link devices. These can be actuators, sensors or a combination of both. An additional supply voltage is available on the Class B ports for IO-Link devices with higher power requirements. The connection to the field devices is made via a point-to-point connection. For this purpose, the module has an M12 output socket for each channel.

The functions of fusing the 24 V DC for each output channel (pin 2 of the M12 connectors) and for the electronics supply (pin 1 of the M12 connectors) are integrated in the module. The integrated TwinSAFE technology ensures safe disconnection of the supply voltage on pins 2 and 5 of the M12 connectors.

IO-Link is designed as an intelligent link between the fieldbus levels and the sensor, wherein parameterization information can be exchanged bidirectionally via the IO-Link connection. The parameterization of the IO-Link devices with service data can take place from TwinCAT via ADS or, very conveniently, via the integrated IO-Link configuration tool.
