The MO6224-0039-1112 enables the connection of up to four IO-Link devices – each via an M12 connector. An additional supply voltage, which can be safely switched off, is available on the Class B ports for IO-Link devices with higher power requirements. The parameterization of the IO-Link devices with service data can take place from within TwinCAT via ADS or, conveniently, via the integrated IO-Link configuration tool.
The module offers safety parameters for specifically adapting the functionality to the safety requirements that apply in each case. The parameters are not stored directly on the component, but are instead transmitted to the module via a TwinSAFE Logic-capable component when the safety application is started.
Additionally, the module has an integrated TwinSAFE Logic system and can also be used as a safety controller.
