Our team in Indonesia consists of Sales, Marketing and Application Support.

You will report to the Sales Manager and focus on the Greater Jakarta region.

Responsibilities

  • seek, develop, and build relationships with machine builders and system integrators in targeted segments
  • client development for the full spectrum of automation products such as PLC, industrial PCs, fieldbus components, PC/NC automation software, drive technology and PC-based automation solutions
  • conduct technical product presentations and demonstrations for customers, showing benefits for the customer’s system
  • work closely with technical department to design and propose suitable solution architectures for customers‘ applications
  • work closely with marketing department for events such as seminars and roadshows
  • provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and customer updates to management
  • full responsibility for allocated sales targets and customer development

Qualifications

  • degree in engineering or related field
  • ideally 1–3 years’ technical sales experience in industrial automation, process automation, robotics, control systems, or a similar technology
  • has developed customers (machine builders, system integrators, and/or end users) in FMCG industries, such as F&B, pharmaceuticals, and the process industry
  • keen interest in technology
  • good technical knowledge of automation technology and fieldbus and system configurations
  • deep understanding of customers’ system and project requirements
  • good sales and marketing skills in a B2B environment
  • a proactive self-starter with team spirit
  • strong discipline to follow up on customers’ progress and report to management
  • valid driver’s license with own car
