Presentation of the MX-System
MC-type modules are computer modules for the Beckhoff MX-System. They have the hardware and software features of an industrial PC, coupled with the robust and IP67-protected MX housing design.
Together with the operating systems offered and the Beckhoff TwinCAT automation suite, MC modules form the central control element of an MX-System and function as EtherCAT masters for all other components in the system.
Thanks to the integration of Intel® Core™ i processors in the highest performance class, the MC6030-0080-2217 is suitable for virtually any automation and visualization task. The basis for this is the full integration and compatibility of TwinCAT and EtherCAT. Thanks to the wide variety of scalable processors with up to six CPU cores and base frequencies of up to 2.6 GHz, the MC6030-0080-2217 can be perfectly adapted to the application at hand.
