The EP6080-0000 EtherCAT memory box module offers 128 kBytes of non-volatile memory (NOVRAM). This box module can be used to store and read parameters and recipes. Part of the memory can also be used for cyclic storage of machine data, such as operating hours counters or production counter values. This EtherCAT Box module is notably used in modular machine concepts featuring a central controller, to store module-related data on the machine module.
