The EJ9404 EtherCAT plug-in module is used in combination with the EJ1101-0022 EtherCAT Coupler to supply the E-bus with power. Data is exchanged between the coupler and the module over the E-bus. Each EtherCAT plug-in module draws a certain amount of current from the E-bus (see “Current consumption E-bus” in the technical data). This current is fed into the E-bus by the power supply plug-in module. The maximum output current is 12 A.
