Security updates for Windows 10 operating systems: the first industrial PCs supplied by Beckhoff with Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB operating systems will cease to be covered by Microsoft Support from October 2026.
Many of these devices are compatible with Windows 10 LTSC 2021 and can be upgraded. System and security updates would thus be assured up until November 2031.
In addition, some devices already meet the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11 LTSC 2024 and would then benefit from a longer support period as well as the latest functions.
