The slotbox makes PCI Express and PCI slots available outside the Industrial PC as well. The PCI Express bus is fed via a plug connector and cable to a slotbox located up to 7 m away. Users can use the installation space in the control cabinet flexibly and locate further plug-in cards locally.
Both PCI and PCI Express card slots are available by using different versions of the slotbox. The slotbox is made of sturdy aluminum and ideal for use in industrial environments.
