The EPX3314-0022 EtherCAT Box allows direct connection of thermocouples from zone 0/20 and 1/21 hazardous areas. The EPX3314-0022 circuit can operate sensors in 2-wire technology. Linearization takes place across the entire, freely selectable temperature range. A wire break is signaled by error-LEDs. Compensation for the cold junction is made through a Pt1000 temperature measurement in the connection plugs. With the EPX3314-0022, voltage measurement in the mV range is also possible.
