The TF2900 TwinCAT 3 HMI System Engineering Functions extension activates the "Functions" feature within System Engineering. System Engineering is an extension of the TwinCAT HMI Server designed to automatically generate UI content.
Based on attributes in the PLC, individual elements are dynamically generated in a control in the HMI. The standard package includes machine parameters that are available free of charge. "Functions" expands the range of features to include automatic generation of actions. This can be used, for example, to implement manual functions or state models.
