Met TwinCAT Vision integreert Beckhoff uitgebreide beeldverwerkingsfuncties in de controller. Daarmee combineert TwinCAT alle machinefuncties zoals PLC, beweging, robotica, hoogwaardige meettechniek, IoT, HMI en vision, op één allesomvattend engineering- en besturingsplatform. Er hoeft geen gebruik meer te worden gemaakt van afzonderlijke, doorgaans extern ontwikkelde vision-oplossingen.
