The EP7412-9071 EtherCAT Box offers two outputs with integrated MDR controller for the direct connection of 24/48 V DC conveyor roller motors or other BLDC motors with max. 4 A. Two additional digital inputs/outputs per channel enable the connection of light barriers or actuators, for example.
The EP7412-9071 takes over the complete control of a roller motor irrespective of the manufacturer of the conveyor or the motor. Maximum rated current, acceleration or deceleration ramps and various other parameters can be configured, allowing a wide range of customization for different applications. The motors are controlled without sensors.
The EtherCAT Box has integrated cables for EtherCAT, sensors, motors and power supply and can be wired directly from box to box without additional cables. This offers enormous cost savings. The power supply is via M12 L-coded cables with max. 16 A per logic and load voltage. The monitoring of numerous parameters, such as overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, terminal temperature or motor load, via the calculation of an I²T model, offers maximum operational reliability. The integrated FSoE safety electronics enable safety-oriented shutdown of the motors.
