EL5001-0012 | EtherCAT Terminal, 1-channel encoder interface, SSI, simulation
The EL5001-0012 EtherCAT Terminal allows simulation of single-turn and multi-turn SSI encoders with gray or binary code output and a maximum transmission rate of 2 MHz. This makes it possible to generate a position response to an externally generated SSI master signal in applications where no SSI encoder is physically present. Extensive parameterization options allow optimum simulation of different encoder types.
Special features:

- parity bit (Even/Odd) can be optionally activated
- separate output of status error bits in the process data
- specification of travel profiles via motion control
