The EJ3058 EtherCAT plug-in module processes signals in the range from 4 to 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bit, and is transmitted, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device. The module combines eight channels in a single housing. The signal state is indicated by light emitting diodes.
