Beckhoff offers an extensive range of Power measurement I/O terminals and SCT current transformers for accurate and reliable voltage and current measurement. Beyond voltage and current acquisition, the terminals automatically calculate key electrical values such as energy, power, power factor, cos φ, frequency, and harmonics.
The portfolio has recently been expanded with the new EL3475 Power measurement terminal, together with matching SVL voltage transformers and SCL current transformers.
These products simplify installation, requiring little more than connecting a few RJ45 cables.
Distributed Power Measurement (DPM) technology further enables scalable and cost-effective power monitoring by combining centralized voltage measurements with local current measurements.
To complement the hardware, new TwinCAT modules simplify the configuration, processing, and sharing of power measurement data, reducing engineering effort and accelerating application development.
