The DC link power supply unit generates the DC link voltage for supplying the axis modules and the option modules from the mains voltage. It contains all of the circuit components required for this, such as line filters, rectifiers and charging circuits for the integrated DC link capacitors.
Generated regenerative energy, e.g. through braking of the motors, can be converted into heat with an external braking resistor. Alternatively, the energy can be stored in the MD9000-2025-2250 storage module.
MD6000 DC link power supplies can be used on 3-phase low-voltage mains suppies (3-phase supply supplies 400…480 V AC, 50/60 Hz).
Via an optional B23 EtherCAT P output, the MX-System can be expanded to include additional system components, such as the AMP8000 system.
The TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2 serves as commissioning tool. Thanks to the structured design and the wide range of functions, commissioning of the axis is simple and intuitive.
