The DC supply module is used for DC link expansion (DC voltage) of an upstream AX8000 system. If, for example, the width of the control cabinet is not sufficient for mounting all AX8000 modules, a new series can be started with the AX8600 DC supply module. The AX-Bridge of the last module in the upstream system is connected to the AX8600 in the next series via the DC link connection cable ZK4875-900x-xxxx. This can be repeated up to the maximum permitted total DC link capacity.
The AX8600 features a built-in brake chopper for connecting an external braking resistor. Alternatively, the energy can be temporarily stored in the AX8810 capacitor module.
A separate 24 V DC power supply and an EtherCAT connection are required in each case.
