The MO4xxx I/O modules process digital and analog input and output signals. With this, Beckhoff offers the right product for every application in the product portfolio of analog output modules due to different numbers of channels and resolutions.
Distributed Clocks and XFC for speed and precision
Some analog output modules are based on the XFC technology (eXtreme Fast Control), which enables rapid, deterministic reactions to be realized in the µs range.
This technology enables fast I/O response times, oversampling of the input signal and precise time measurement for events at the input with a resolution of 1 ns. Via the EtherCAT Distributed Clocks, which are implemented in some analog input modules, a highly accurate synchronization of all Distributed Clocks capable nodes in the network can be achieved with a synchronization accuracy << 1 µs.
