The ELX3632 EtherCAT Terminal enables direct connection of intrinsically safe IEPE sensors from zone 0/20 and 1/21 hazardous areas. The measuring signals are analyzed via the TwinCAT library on the PC. This enables all benefits of the PC platform, such as performance and flexibility, to be fully exploited. Alternatively, the evaluation can also be performed with the user software. Adjustable filters allow you to customize the terminal to meet your needs.
EtherCAT Terminals from the ELX series must always be operated in conjunction with the ELX9560 power supply terminal, which generates an electrically isolated output voltage (24 V EX) from the input voltage (24 V DC) to supply the downstream ELX terminals. If a repeat supply is required, an ELX9410 and an ELX9560 can be combined so that further ELX terminals can be connected in series.
