The EPP6224-0002 IO-Link master module enables connection of up to four IO-Link devices, e.g. actuators, sensors or combinations of both. In addition, the the EPP6224-0002 offers an additional digital input on each of the four Class A master ports.
The EtherCAT Box is parameterized via the EtherCAT master. The parameterization of the IO-Link devices with service data can be done from TwinCAT via ADS or, very conveniently, via the integrated IO-Link configuration tool.
In the standard setting, the four C/Q channels of the EPP6224-0002 work as IO-Link channels. Each IO-Link channel can optionally also be used as a pure input or output.
