The IE20xx and IE2808 digital outputs connect the binary control signals from the automation unit on to the actuators at the process level. The outputs handle different load currents.
The outputs of the IE2512 module provide a pulse width modulated version of a binary signal. The keying ratio is prescribed by a 16-bit value from the automation unit.
