The EPP2339-0703 EtherCAT P Box has 16 digital channels, each of which can be operated as input or output. It is not necessary to configure whether a channel is to be used as input or output. The input circuit is permanently connected to the output driver internally so that a set output is also automatically displayed in the input process image.
The inputs have a filter of 3.0 ms, the outputs process load currents of up to 0.5 A and are short-circuit proof and protected against polarity reversal. The sum current of all outputs is limited to 3 A. The connected sensors are supplied via an internal, short-circuit proof driver block with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The inputs and outputs are supplied from UP. The signal connection is established via spring-loaded connectors, optionally available in 1- and 3-pin versions.
The EPP2339-0703 has three additional hexadecimal ID switches. In this way, an individual address from 0...4095 can be set, allowing unique identification regardless of installation position, as required by some device profiles for certain industries, such as the semiconductor industry.
The module is supplied without connectors.
