EL6754 | EtherCAT Terminal, 1-channel communication interface, DeviceNet®, master
The terminal enables integration of any DeviceNet® devices into the Ethernet terminal network and can be used as a master (EL6754) or slave (EL6754-0010). The DeviceNet® terminal offers powerful protocol implementation with a whole host of features:
- supports all DeviceNet® I/O modes: polling, change-of-state, cyclic, strobed
- unconnected message manager (UCMM)
- offline connection set, device heartbeat messages, device shutdown messages
- Auto Device Replacement (ADR)
- high-performance parameter and diagnostic interfaces
- freely configurable error management for each bus device
Like the FC5201 DeviceNet® PCI™ card, the EL6754 is used to connect to DeviceNet® networks; however, it saves space since it does not require PCI™ slots in the industrial PC.
