
The EPP1816-0003 EtherCAT P Box with digital inputs acquires binary control signals from the process level and transfers them, with electrical isolation, to the controller. The signal state is indicated by means of LEDs. The signal connection is established via spring-loaded connectors, optionally available in 1- and 3-pole versions. The module is supplied without connectors. Thanks to the compact plug level, the EPP1816-0003 can transfer 16 signals from the field via EtherCAT in a very small space. The sensors are supplied in a short-circuit proof manner from the control voltage US with 0.5 A. The load voltage UP is not used in the input module.
