The EP3752-0000 EtherCAT Box has two internal 3-axis accelerometers with 10 bits and a selectable measuring range of ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8 g and ±16 g. The sampling frequency is 200 Hz to 5 kHz. Possible applications include the recording of vibrations and shocks/oscillations, and furthermore inclination measurements in all three axes. Since measurement is carried out with two sensors that are positioned at an angle of 90° to each other, the control system can check measured data for plausibility. Extended integrated filter functions allow measured data to be pre-processed and appropriately scaled in order to filter disturbances and to relieve the workload of the control system.
