Part 3: TwinCAT Analytics Workflow – Configurator within the Service Tool

PC-based control and the TwinCAT control software provide a foundation for advanced Industrie 4.0 and Internet of Things architectures in intelligent machines. TwinCAT Analytics is an important element in such an architecture. The product family covers a complete workflow ranging from data acquisition through communication and data historization to data evaluation and representation in web-based dashboards.

In this series of webinars, Pascal Dresselhaus explains the complete TwinCAT Analytics workflow. In addition, the TwinCAT Product Manager presents various application examples. These examples are intended to illustrate, for example, how data analysis capabilities can be used to open up new business areas and generate higher sales revenues. In the four parts of the webinar series, Pascal Dresselhaus will also talk about the high level of application flexibility through the use of IoT technologies and the optimization of support and service processes. Other benefits of TwinCAT Analytics will also be presented, among them time savings in engineering through the automatic generation of PLC code and HMI dashboards. Moreover, attractive licencing packages for the Analytics workflow offering further savings potential will be explained in the webinar.
