The I/O modules of the MO6xxx series are EtherCAT gateways to other bus systems, such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP™ or IO-Link. Some of them are available in master or device versions. With EtherCAT as the communication basis on the baseplate, the MX-System can be easily and flexibly expanded with MO6xxx modules as required. In this way, entire machine parts or other devices that do not have an EtherCAT interface can be connected.
