The EP2316-0003 EtherCAT Box combines eight digital inputs (upper socket connector) and eight digital outputs (lower socket connector) in a single device. The inputs have a filter of 10 µs. The outputs process load currents up to 0.5 A and are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The signal status is displayed via the optional plug connector. The signal connection is made via spring-cage connectors, optionally available in 1- and 3-pole versions.

 

The supply of the connected sensors is done by an internal, short-circuit proof driver module with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The outputs are supplied via UP. All outputs are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The 16-channel design offers a very high channel density in a very small space. The protection rating is limited by the spring-cage connector.

The module is supplied without connectors.
