Sustainability played a critical role in the modernisation of the lighting system in a warehouse measuring 200 x 50 meters. By replacing conventional fluorescent lamps with dimmable LED luminaires and realizing an intelligent DALI lighting control system based on the PC-based building automation from Beckhoff, energy consumption has been reduced by more than 90 percent.
