The EPP4304-1002 EtherCAT P Box has two analog inputs, two analog outputs and two digital inputs, which can be parameterized individually, so that they either process or generate signals in the ±10 V range. The current signals have 16-bit resolution.

The analog channels have a common ground potential with the UP/24 V DC supply. On each M12 there is a digital type 3 input with 10 µs input filter time and an analog input and an analog output. Since the digital input and analog inputs/outputs are arranged together on one M12 each, complex terminal devices can be controlled with a single connection cable. This saves additional costs, cable channels and installation work.
