PC Control customer magazine – The New Automation Technology Magazine

PC Control is Beckhoff Automation's international customer magazine, published four times a year and supplemented by additional special issues. It covers the full spectrum of New Automation Technology topics, primarily with expert interviews and technical articles on new products and technologies as well as inspiring reports on customer applications across the globe.

Dynamism and precision can be as important for movement sequences as grace and elegance. Over the years, these aspects have played a significant role in Beckhoff's PC-based control technology, which is celebrating two anniversaries this year – 40 years of PC-based control and 30 years of TwinCAT! We shed light on a wide variety of these success stories in this special, including how PC-based control has contributed to a revolution on the factory floor and the experts behind this development in the second part of “Faces of Innovation”. In most of the application reports in this issue, precise and reliable motion sequences also play a pivotal role. The Opéra national de Paris has brought all of the aspects of perfect motion named in the first sentence together with people and technology. These aspects are also crucial for Adelbert Haas’s high-tech grinding machine and TTEngineering’s 3D laser cutting machines.
