Synchronization terminal with GNSS and IP67 box with gyroscope
The EP3751-0260 EtherCAT Box module has an internal 6-axis MEMS sensor for measuring movements. The box module combines a 3-axis acceleration sensor and 3-axis gyroscope sensor that record acceleration and rotational movement in a very compact unit.
This can be used in AGVs, robotics or moving system parts, for example.
The integration of EtherCAT ensures virtually delay-free transmission and subsequent evaluation in the measuring system. The sensor data can also be transmitted as raw values (unprocessed/filtered) – for example, to be filtered, processed, and evaluated using TwinCAT Analytics.
